For development of an advanced network infrastructure for computing and
collaboration based on 10 GigE technologies. Targeted focus areas are
uncompressed HD video over IP, high speed connectivity between distributed
research data storage sites and computational nodes, and low-latency,
high throughput interconnects for HPC clusters.
Grant value $78,000 cash plus equipment worth $393,220.
