The RIT Computing Grid aims to leverage all the available resources at RIT for inclusion into a unified grid environment. The RIT grid consists of central Research Computing resources (large memory computer, parallel cluster) as well as distributed resources connected via programs like Condor. High performance storage servers both central and distributed connect to the compute servers via 10 GigE networks. Connections to the state, national and international research networks leverage off-campus supercomputing resources for RIT researchers.
