Research Computing supports the research and development of advanced collaboration
technologies to help researchers work together, disseminate their work, and do outreach.
The focus is on real-time tools that can provide the customizable and high performance
features that researchers may need.
The ICE Lab is a venue for teaching and learning, research and development, practical
applications, and evaluative studies. The Access Grid is a targeted collaboration
focus area.
The RIT Global Collaboration Grid attempts to build connected communities across the
worldwide reach of RIT's campuses and partners with the highest quality real-time
interactive multi-way connections.
